Carp fishing in France Lake Perigny la Rose. The lake is about 13 acres in size, which has been established approximately 18 years ago. During the last few years, Mr. Dollat (Mayor of Perigny la Rose) with his team have refurnished this pit and made all the banks available for fishing. The lake is totally secured with a fence covering the full 15 acres of land. There is a track that goes all around the perimeter. The swims are well spaced out, with grassy areas for bivvies and rods. The banks are very smooth, which give you the opportunity to fish anywhere you like.

Sky Lake was run by Phil Roots and his partner Sue but from November 2005 Tim and Ali Clegg-Jones formerly of GTS Tours Ltd have taken over the management and running of Sky Lakes. We have been running trips to the Jonquoy for the last 7 years and Cornees for 2 years and felt we couldn’t do anymore on Jonquoy as the owners would not let us improve the facilities. Phil and Sue have decided to move back to England after 6 years at Sky Lakes to do other things.

Etang d'Avalon is a beautifully mature six acre lake located within the heart of the equally stunning Limousin region of central France. The lake, which is bordered by eighteen acres of established woodland, enjoys a superbly tranquil environment and is both totally private and secure. In addition to the resident fish we have stocked over a tonne of Carp with weights now reaching nearly 50lb. Avalon is also home to a number of Catfish and these have already achieved weights in excess of 55lb.

The Little Priest (Petit Pretre) carp fishing lakes are situated in the Champagne Ardennes region of France just a 4 hour drive from Calais.
The lakes date back over 400 years when they were occupied by Monks – hence the name. They were first recorded during the reign of Louis XV by Ceasar-Francois Cassini who produced detailed maps of France which listed Petit Pretre.
Today Petit Pretre consists of 3 main lakes plus a small stock lake set in a mature 52 acre woodland setting offering a quiet and secluded location. The main lake is about 7.5 acres and was excavated in 2007/08 with over 2 ton of common and mirror carp added weighing in at 30 to 50 lbs. The Gun Lake (our 2nd lake) is 5 acres and is being prepared now to be opened in spring 2010. It will also be stocked with a range of carp weighing to 50 lbs.
We can accommodate up to 11 "Drive & Survive" anglers on the 2 lakes making it ideal for exclusive parties of 4, 7 or 11 people. The main lake can accommodate 7 anglers on 11 swims (8 single & 3 double). The Gun Lake can accommodate 4 anglers on 5 swims (3 double & 2 single).

We have excellent on-site facilities which include the Club House / Dining Room with recharging points, kitchen which we use for preparing on-site food and the shower / toilet facilities. All cabins are close to each other and the lakes.

Lastly, we offer great bait packages for the fish and an excellent full board offering for our guests too – so nobody goes hungry.
