Le Planchon lake of just over 3 acres is partly surrounded by trees with access all around the lake.
Le Planchon has been given the classification of fish farm for its optimum water quality and temperature, this makes it not only ideal water for breeding but also shows incredible growth rates of the exsiting stock.
The lake is home to a variety of fish including Perch, Zanda, Roach, Pike and an excellent head of Large Carp.
We are open all year with Day and Night Fishing and No Permits are Required.

Etang Cerisier is a privately run carp fishery set in the beautiful countryside of Brittany. With a good head of carp to over 40lb the pretty 2 and a half acre lake also contains catfish, silver fish and some very big perch.

THE LAKE
The lake is situated in the Champagne Region of France, just three hours from Calais (257 miles) and is approximately 20 years old. It is very mature with plenty of tree's and bushes surrounding it. The water, 15 - 16 acre's of it, is a fantastic blue colour during the height of summer. With depths of up to 24 ft in the early part of the year only dropping to 22 - 23 feet in the latter part of summer. The lake bed is of a sandy/gravel consistency with lots of interesting features to go at and it isn't full of weed or poisson chat!

THE STOCK
The Carp are fast growing with a good mix of mirrors and commons. The original 20 year old stock of 300 - 400 Carp already go to over 50lbs! In addition we have handpicked a 55lb 5oz Mirror (Ronnie) & (Reggie) a 57lb 4oz Mirror, 8 stunning new forties, a 67Ib catfish and over a ton of Thirties! There is also a fantastic original stock of grass carp to mid 30's to go for.

THE FACILITIES
The lake is fenced where necessary, with a lockable entrance gate for security.
You are able to park at all the swims. Showers, toilets and hand wash basins are available on site. Brick built bar-b-ques and benches are also present in some swims.
We have made some of the swims very comfortable with purpose built decking, while leaving others very natural.

Our lakes, 8 & 50 acres date back to the 12th century. Both lakes have undergone a massive restocking program and contain a huge head of big fish of up to 58 lbs.

The 8 acre lake is available for exclusive parties of up to six anglers. All anglers have a large amount of water, eliminating the problems of having other anglers encroaching on their swim. A quad and trailer can be hired for delivery to your swim or wheel barrows are available free of charge.
