Dear carp anglers,

finally it's done!
Germanys first online TV programme for carp anglers is now available.
Carpheart.TV has the approach to cover all topics of modern carp fishing in an informative and exciting way.

Run by carp anglers for carp anglers, the format reflects interests and topics of carp fishing with a diverse mixture of product reviews, news, interviews and dvd previews.
Further categories such as "Ã¡ la carte" - about cooking, or "carp shots" - with nice pictures of incredible carps, assure 40-minutes entertaining programme.

"With more than 3.8 million fisherman in Germany and an increasing number of specimen hunter,
it was just a matter of time, when the first programme for carp anglers would be available" says founder and moderator Bjoern Rosenthal.

In 2005, the passionate fisherman already realised a project called "Radio Carpheart", reporting about news and trends in carp fishing as well as interviewing experts such as Steve Briggs, Christian Finkelde or Christoph Schulz in an audio format.
At the same time he started developing the idea of Carpheart.TV, which has now been realised together with technical producer Thomas Boda.

The innovative fishing format is available for free on http://www.carpheart.tv since the 17th of December.

CarpAngling.net competition

In association with CARPology magazine, we will be holding a monthly competition for all members of the forum.

The competition will be based around photography and have an angling theme.
Any picture can be submitted, from your prize catch to a view from your bivvy, as long as it is fishing related.
There is no limit as to how many pictures you can submit so get those cameras at the ready.

The pictures will be judged independantly and the winner posted on the website once each months competition ends.The prize each month will be a CARPology hoodie, check out their website if you havent seen these before

High Pressure Blues

Well-Winter fast approaches.
The temperatures have begun to take a distinct nose dive,and many are beginning to look towards a dabble for some Winter Piking.
For those who have been spending long nights trying to tempt the Carp to feed,things havent been so promising for the majority.
The last few weeks have seen a long sustained High Pressure across the UK,which in turn seems to have had a rather adverse effect upon our chances of a bend in the rod!
Many are checking barometers each morning,praying for the drop that must surely come-and praying they can be on the bank when it does!
Lets hope the carp remember their traditional pre-winter Nosh Up before temps drop too low!!
