Combley Lakes, excellent carp fishing in outstanding rural countryside. The lakes are set in the depths of the beautiful central valley on the Isle of Wight. The valley encompasses some 320 acres of private farmland and is a picture of peace and tranquility. The lakes have their own private entrances and there is adaquate car parking available right next to where you fish.

I have fished the old lake many times and have had some good results, a lot of anglers go for the bream, but there is a fair head of carp, and a few barbell to be caught around the back of the island, and one catfish that rarely gets caught, the last time I heard of it coming out it was around the 8lb mark, and this was about 5 years ago. There is a specimen lake up the road from the old lake, which has been open about 3 years have not fished it but I know it was stocked with fish up to 20lbs.
There is also a new lake between these 2 lakes I think is for matches, but have not seen it fished yet. So I cannot give a report!
