Cambridge Fish Preservation & Angling Society was founded in 1885 as the "Jolly Anglers" with one stretch of river the Hundred Foot River at Earith. Now days our extensive list of leased and managed Fisheries cover over 30 miles of top class River Fishing together with 3 Lakes, 4 Pits and 1 Pond.

The East Midlands Carp Study Group was created as a point of contact for likeminded Carp anglers of all calibres, throughout the East Midlands, with a view to providing functions of an Angling and Social nature.

We are a unique organisation which fights pollution and other damage to water environments throughout the UK. Water pollution kills hundreds of thousands of fish each year which has a huge impact on local economies, aquatic wildlife and the enjoyment of angling clubs. Rivers and stillwaters are also under threat from water abstraction, escaped farmed fish, weirs and flood defence works. The ACA aims to stop this damage happening and to seek compensation for our members when it does.
