THE LAKE
The lake is situated in the Champagne Region of France, just three hours from Calais (257 miles) and is approximately 20 years old. It is very mature with plenty of tree's and bushes surrounding it. The water, 15 - 16 acre's of it, is a fantastic blue colour during the height of summer. With depths of up to 24 ft in the early part of the year only dropping to 22 - 23 feet in the latter part of summer. The lake bed is of a sandy/gravel consistency with lots of interesting features to go at and it isn't full of weed or poisson chat!

THE STOCK
The Carp are fast growing with a good mix of mirrors and commons. The original 20 year old stock of 300 - 400 Carp already go to over 50lbs! In addition we have handpicked a 55lb 5oz Mirror (Ronnie) & (Reggie) a 57lb 4oz Mirror, 8 stunning new forties, a 67Ib catfish and over a ton of Thirties! There is also a fantastic original stock of grass carp to mid 30's to go for.

THE FACILITIES
The lake is fenced where necessary, with a lockable entrance gate for security.
You are able to park at all the swims. Showers, toilets and hand wash basins are available on site. Brick built bar-b-ques and benches are also present in some swims.
We have made some of the swims very comfortable with purpose built decking, while leaving others very natural.

Ever fancied fishing for carp in France, look no further; we are giving you the chance to try out carp fishing in our english owned and run lake in the loire valley just 10 minutes from the famous le-mans race track, we have a lake that is very well stocked with carp to 54lb, if you prefer catfish we have got them to 61lb, and we have also got sturgeon to 34lb. The prices are very reasonable, you can drive and survive for £200 p.p.per week, that includes the use of showers and toilets, There is also accommodation on site for rental if you want to bring your family, the site has also got disabled access, everything you will need for your stay is all very close, the village is about 2 minutes drive away, and if you fancy that carp fishing trip but don’t want to drive, don’t worry we do an airport pickup service from Tours as well as Angers, so just check with flybe or ryanair for the best flight, and we also have tackle hire onsite at good rates. If you go to our more pics page you will see a few pictures of some big carp, you will also see the sturgeon, if you have ever caught one of these before you will know that these babies are a huge amount of fun to catch.
