The beautiful 12 acre lake is situated in front of the Sixteenth century Bourguignon style castle. The lake has two isles and is spring fed and rich in abundance of natural food.

The lake is very unusual as it offers a "no snag", gravel base, with a light silt bed. Once you have hooked, the only way a fish can be lost is through the use of inferior tackle. You can play the fish in complete confidence. Your line will not get snapped up on any under water snags and you will need all of your skill to land these fish. As this is a new venue and the fish have never been caught before, they will put up a hard fight, which makes Chateau de Tigny the most desirable place for Carp fishing in France!

3 lakes with carp up to 66lbs. The first is the Island Lake which is 3.5 acres with depths from 2ft to 8ft, and spring fed with no snags and a silt bottom, with the additional feature of an island situated off centre.

The second is Spring Lake is 4 acres with depths from 2ft to 7ft, also spring fed with no snags and a silt bottom.

The third is the stock pond. This currently holds over 100 small carp which have been selected especially for their fast growth rate.

Set in the beautiful countryside of the Limousin. Carp fishing at its best.

Etang de Brigueuil is a 25 acre lake on the borders of the Charente and the Limousin, 2 areas famous for their lakes and water sports. March 2005 saw the opening of the lake as a commercial fishery for the first time in its very long history.
