Croxley Hall Carp Syndicate is run on a private estate which is not open to the general public. It has a small exclusive membership of friendly anglers.
The lake, fished by the Syndicate, is a mature ten acre gravel pit situated in the famous Colne Valley near Rickmansworth. It was dug some thirty years ago and contains many interesting features. There are around two hundred carp present, the majority being commons between twenty five and thirty nine pounds. Most of these fish were stocked in 1996 at an average weight of two pounds however there are a few original mirrors to just under forty pounds. In June 2004 the lake received a further stocking of twenty "leney's" around the seven pound mark most of these carp are now twenty plus.

The Rectory Carp Syndicate Bradwell Village, Essex
This week 'On Tour Through Essex' it's a great opportunity for CarpTalk readers to get in early on a newly forming syndicate. The Rectory Carp Syndicate lake is situated close to Bradwell Village near Braintree in Essex, it is 2 acres in size, very mature, being surrounded by broadleaf trees. There is a large bed of lilies in the centre of the lake and small beds of lilies scattered around the margins. There are ten bivvy type swims and a few day swims. The Rectory has an atmosphere seldom found on waters nowadays, it is very quiet due to the amount of trees.
