ORCHARD LAKES is a complex of two lakes on a fully fenced secure sight of 14 acres the lakes are superbly maintained and suit experienced anglers wishing to fish in an ultra comfortable environment. The lakes are owned by Jeff and Lisa Powell the founders of the well known JRC CARP BRAND after 14 years in the trade we are now devoting our energies to carp fishing in France and the lakes will now be run by us personally, you can be sure of a warm welcome and that we are determined to make your visit as comfortable and successful as possible.

Etang du Roivre is a fifteen acre estate lake situated in the middle of France’s beautiful Burgundy region which is renowned for its stunning, unspoilt countryside. The lake is over three hundred years old and until we bought it in early 2002 it had been kept as a nature reserve and nobody had been allowed to fish it. It now has a superb stock of very big fish as, detailed in the following pages.

The lake is situated within 33 acres of our own land, all of which is securely fenced to two metres high and you are likely to see Pine-Martens, Red-Kites and Buzzards as well as other native animals. I am pleased to say that any Wild Boar will be outside the fence and therefore harmless. Beyond our boundary there are no main roads, railways or factories, just miles of forest and farmland so, except for the occasional tractor, no obnoxious noises or smells to spoil your stay.

The lake is exclusivley yours and can be booked for up to 6 anglers.This mature 14 acre lake has 12 swims,2 islands,gravel bars,silt channels,and several sets of lilly pads.There a very good existing stock of carp.I addition the lake has been recently stocked with mirror carp to over 50lbs, common carp to over 40lbs,and grass carp to 36lbs.Right next to the lake there a large brick built lodge,with a fully fitted
