Scarper Carper - the self drive fishing holiday in France.

Scarper Carper is owned and run by myself, Sheridan, and my husband Peter. As a team we have - and are - working hard to provide a French carp fishing lake for an unforgettable holiday experience.

Peter was previously a Management Consultant for one of the UK s biggest holiday groups, and has been a carp angler for 16 years. He has a PB of over 55lbs which he achieved in May 2005, and has been featured in Kevin Nash s advertising campaigns. He has fished many prolific waters in the UK and France. His experience and contacts within the carp fishing industry coupled with his knowledge of tourism ensures a top quality venue at Lac de Paix.

Plantations Lakes Fishery

Plantations Lakes opened in 1994. The complex has three lakes open at the moment and all are all heavily stocked with a wide variety of coarse fish. The coarse and carp lakes were dug in the summer of 1994 and opened for fishing the following November. The match or horseshoe lake as it is also known was dug in the autumn of 1999 and opened for fishing in February 2000.
